JOB DESCRIPTION
As a member of the Hospitality Team at The Altar, you will be the first point of contact for all our guests upon entry. Your role is to provide a warm and welcoming experience, going above and beyond to distill information about all that The Altar offers. You will act as a knowledgeable guide, offering assurance and confidence while helping guests make the best decisions for their wellness needs. You will strive to exceed expectations, creating unforgettable, personalized experiences that make each person feel uniquely heard and understood.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all hospitality needs, including checking in guests, offering tours, answering phone calls, responding to email and text inquiries, making bookings, taking payment, selling memberships, meeting sales KPIs and in-store merchandise.
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing a welcoming and informative experience. Personalize each guest's experience by remembering their preferences and celebrating special occasions uniquely.
- Implement effective sales strategies to boost revenue. This may include focusing on direct bookings, offering promotions, and building loyalty. Actively work on increasing walk-ins and memberships through targeted marketing and personalized outreach.
- Approach customer requests with a "how can we make this happen" mindset, aiming to fulfill even the most unique requests.
- Build genuine connections with guests through personalized communication and meaningful conversations.
- Take initiative in solving customer problems and provide exceptional service, fostering a sense of ownership and pride in your work.
- Perform daily walk-through inspections to ensure all areas of the club are clean, neat, organized, and like new.
- Analyze satisfaction scores to ensure the best member experience is delivered.
- Assist Studio Management with daily tasks and projects.
- Maintain product knowledge for all services and retail merchandise.
- Oversee and maintain facility operations, regularly circulating all areas to ensure proper organization and cleanliness.
REQUIREMENTS
- Availability in person for non-traditional hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Full Time: Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including 3-4 weekend shifts per month.
- Part Time: Ability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, including 1-2 weekend shifts per month.
