JOB DESCRIPTION

Our onsite Registered Nurse (RN) manages the Practice, where guests are provided with Vitamin IVs, Vitamin intramuscular shots (IM), hyperbaric chambers, red light therapy, PEMF, compression therapy, peptides and lab work among others. The RN must be able to educate guests on the benefits of these services, stay updated on new and innovative products, have a strong interest in wellness technology, and ultimately distill information with clarity, empathy, and exceptional hospitality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Educate and Guide: Serve as a trusted guide for guests, providing professional insights on the benefits of all modalities on offer (education and resources will be provided). Explain contraindications, pros and cons, and the purpose of each, recommending the most suitable options for each wellness goal.
• Medical Consultations: Assist in conducting initial medical consultations to evaluate patient eligibility per approved protocol by our Medical Director. Document contraindications and perform vitals. Answer questions with confidence, clarity, and full comprehension, making sure guests feel heard and understood.
• Communication and Collaboration: Communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members to foster an efficient, positive, and collaborative environment. Manage the clinic's communications via email and phone.
• Service Delivery: Administer IV and IM services with meticulous attention to detail, prioritizing safety, cleanliness, and comfort.
• Aftercare and Follow-Up: Provide guests with aftercare instructions and follow up with any inquiries they may have regarding their treatments.
• Inventory Management: Order and inventory all clinical supplies, IV fluids, and medications, managing the guest calendar, proactively communicating supply needs, and updating supply expectations as and when appropriate. Understand cost of goods sold, budgets, and other relevant financial indicators related to the clinical service.
• Record Keeping: Regularly chart treatment notes and guest information in our Electronic Health Record to maintain accurate records, offer educated suggestions, and further personalize patient care.
• Scheduling: Oversee regular scheduling and staffing, while also being available for pop-up and community events.

REQUIREMENTS

• Active, unencumbered RN with active medical license registered in NY.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in administering IV/Injections.
• Background in holistic health care is a plus.
• Excellent venipuncture, phlebotomy and IV catheter skills.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours a day.
